The Nassau Sunshine Fund is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit charitable corporation that makes small, no-interest loans to residents of the Town and Villages of Nassau. Since this not-for-profit charitable organization began in 2009, it has made 54 loans amounting to over $21,000. On July 4th, Nassau Community Connections, Inc., recognized three local volunteers with its first annual “Life is for Service” award.
